As Governor Umo Eno marks three years in office, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Akwa Ibom State Council, says many residents are beginning to feel the impact of government policies through improved infrastructure, rural development programmes and economic empowerment initiatives.

The union, in a congratulatory message signed by its Chairman, Comrade Nsibiet John, and Secretary, Comrade Nsikak Esenowo, noted that the administration’s ARISE Agenda has continued to influence lives across communities in the state.

According to the NUJ, investments in road construction, healthcare, education, agriculture, tourism and human capital development have contributed to improving living conditions and expanding opportunities for many citizens.

The council observed that the governor’s focus on rural transformation and economic empowerment has brought development closer to communities, while interventions in critical sectors have helped address some of the challenges facing residents.

Beyond governance, the union commended Governor Eno for maintaining a cordial relationship with the media, describing journalists as important stakeholders in the state’s development process.

Congratulating the governor on the milestone, the NUJ prayed for greater wisdom, strength, good health and divine guidance for him to continue providing leadership and delivering sustainable development for the people of Akwa Ibom State.

The council also wished the administration continued success as it enters its fourth year in office.
